    Small - Medium Group sessions focused on building strong foundations in individual skills and working effectively in a team.

    Medium group sessions focused on maximising performance and preparing players for transition to senior & high level football.

Meet the Coaches:

We are proud to have Louis guiding us as we implement our technical development program. While he has unfortunately had to travel back to Europe for treatment following an injury, he will be remotely consulting for the Academy - directly advising our coaches and developing the curriculum for each term.

We are excited to bring on board our team of experienced coaches who will be leading the Academy sessions every week:

  • Felipe Alliende: Pablo has been part of the club since 2013 and brings over a decade of experience coaching across all levels, from MiniRoos U6 to U18s. A two-time Coach of the Year winner, he brings both passion and experience to every session.

    As a teacher by profession, Pablo has the skills to inspire and manage young players, helping them grow in confidence and ability. He still plays in the Over 35s competition and has a lifelong love for the game, having grown up playing in Chile and winning championships in Port Lincoln in 1997.

    Dedicated, energetic, and focused on player development, his philosophy combines skill-building with enjoyment, encouraging players to grow both on and off the pitch.

  • Emmanuel Kipyator: Another 2-time Mindil Aces Junior coach of the year, Manny is a championship winning junior coach who has run multiple coaching clinics and school holiday programs for boys and girls of all ages. A part of the Mindil Aces Men’s Premier League team which won the Championship and Premiership in 2024, he is a role model for young players looking to take their game to the next level. Manny holds the Miniroos Foundation License in coaching.

  • Abbey Greig: Awarded the NT Coach of the Year in the 2024 Female Football Awards, Abbey has experience coaching in the NT and WA from miniroos up to U15s and Division 3 women. Captain of the Women’s Premier League team which won the treble in 2024, she has fostered a coaching style that embodies patience, leadership and unity - a mentor to young players on and off the pitch.

  • Chae Bernard: Another emerging Men’s Premier League star, Chae has experience attending football academies in Spain where he developed tactical and technical knowledge which he imparts on the teams he coaches. In 2025 Chae led his U13 team to significant on-field improvement, focusing on footballing fundamentals and technical ability.

  • Benji Engels: A long-time Mindil Aces junior, Benji has recently stepped up into coaching and experienced great success winning the Premiership and Grand Final in his first season with Aces U13s.
