    Small - Medium Group sessions focused on building strong foundations in individual skills and working effectively in a team.

Meet the Coaches:

We are proud to have Louis guiding us as we implement our technical development program. While he has unfortunately had to travel back to Europe for treatment following an injury, he will be remotely consulting for the Academy - directly advising our coaches and developing the curriculum for each term.

The Aces Academy sessions will be delivered by our team of experienced coaches, made up of Mindil Aces senior players with coaching experience and a proven track record of working directly with young people to grow their skills and love of the game.

The exact coaching team will be announced on here shortly, once we know know numbers of enrollees in each age group!

  • Zsombor Ambrus: One of our Men’s Premier League stars, Zsombor has experience at top youth academies in Europe, before coaching Aces U14s to a Grand Final victory in 2026, in addition to coaching multiple senior and junior teams this year.

  • Benji Engels: A long-time Mindil Aces junior, Benji has recently stepped up into coaching and experienced great success winning the Premiership and Grand Final in his first season with Aces U13s.

  • Sarah Stenhouse: Another Premier League leader with our senior Women’s team, Sarah is an experienced educator and coach, who has developed Mindil Juniors and coached multiple age groups.

  • Sean Henderson: Sean developed at Mindil Aces as a Junior before experiencing high level Academy experience at Adelaide NPL level. Currently a leader in our Men’s Premier League side, Sean bring technical knowledge and guidance to our young players to support the next generation.
